[00:00:00] Speaker A: Success isn't accidental. It's the story. You rewrite the moment you stop living by the script others handed you. Everything changes. I'm Ras Patel, and on the Ras Patel show, we go past the polished Personas and into the moments that shape us. We explore identity, reinvention, culture, courage, and the unscripted conversations that reveal how people rise, rebuild, and rediscover themselves. These aren't interviews. They're turning points. The kind that shift perspective and sometimes an entire path. When life reshapes you, when clarity breaks through, when boundaries shift, that's where the real journey begins. The Raz Patel Show. Story rewritten. Voices awakened. Journeys redefined.
Welcome to the Ras Patel Show. I'm Raz Patel and I'm here for the moment behind the myth. My guest today is Barry Shore, the ambassador of joy, a mental wellness activist, entrepreneur, and founder on a mission to give 1 billion to charity without costing the giver an extra penny. Barry, I want to start with you, not the headlines. When you introduce yourself as the ambassador of Joy, what do you want people to understand about you as a human before they hear the story?
[00:01:24] Speaker B: Good day, beautiful, beloved, immortal beings and good looking people. Now, Roz, how can I make the categorical statement that all the thousands, tens of thousands of people that are gonna be watching this show are all good looking? Because by definition, if they tuned in to the Ras Patel show, it means they're always looking for and finding the good in likes. That's a good look.
Always looking for and finding the good.
And we found good by being on your show. I'm humbled and honored to be here. And I just want to add one small piece. Yes? You introduced me as the ambassador of Joy.
Notice I didn't say the Ambassador of Joy. The Ambassador of Joy, because joy is that unique, special feeling that animates the entire personality. And it spreads because of you, Roz, all the people listening. It spreads throughout the universe. That's what happens when people live in love, joy, peace and happiness.
[00:02:32] Speaker A: So, Barry, that was such a wonderful welcome and thank you. Thank you. And you know, I've had the pleasure of being on your show, so it's great opportunity to have you on mine and just continue the conversation on joy when we talk about joy. Right.
Where did this come from? Why did you term this ambassador of Joy, Barry? For your show, for your movement.
[00:03:00] Speaker B: This is wonderful. Thank you for asking, Roz. So something just happened. Now we're going to give us a date. It's April in the year 2026.
Now, because of the unique recording of things we have. People will be watching this hopefully a decade from now, 50 years from now, 100 years from now. And let's say, wow, they really experience joy on earth. So let me tell you, there's a magazine in America that has been around for 75, 80 years, very famous magazine in war in the world called Woman's Day.
I think you may be familiar with the Women's Day is very. They have more than a million readers still and it's a very big thing. And I am privileged to say that they just did a two page spread on Barry Shore and the process I've been through and using joy to overcome anything in life. So I'm mentioning that because the woman's the article. And they asked that same question. What is this about joy? That is unique? Not to me. It's part of the human condition. Right? So let's begin by talking about the following.
I like to emphasize that we live with three fundamental principles. And when you use these three fundamentals, the result is you'll be happier, healthier and wealthier. Who doesn't want that, right?
These three principles are. Number one, Life. Your life has purpose. That's you, Roz. When you lead a purpose driven life. Number two. Happens with number two, you go mad. Now, MAD stands for make the difference. Need a purpose driven life. You make a difference in the world. And the third fundamentals. To uncover the power and the secrets of everyday words and terms. And example, this show is being carried around the world. The Internet, right? Ask anybody what does WWW stand for and they'll say how to Internet. Factually speaking, they're correct. However, in our world, world of the positive, so powerful, pleasant. BWW stands for what a Wonderful World.
Right now, of course, that song, what a Wonderful world by Lou A.R. saxwell. Thank you, dear Satchell, for enabling that song to go viral and not just touch tens of millions, but billions of people around the planet have heard that song, what a Wonderful World. And right away, when you hear the song, what do you do? You can help it. You're smiling now. Smile is most important, Roz, that people can internalize unilateral leverage in their life. Because miles stands for seeing miracles in life every day.
Seeing miracles in life every day. Now wait a minute. How do you do that, Barry Shore? Let me tell you a quick story. May I tell you a quick story, Roz?
Please, please do so imagine everybody if you can.
I, as you see me now, I'm standing up in the morning, completely healthy and hearty, able to leave buildings and it's in the evening, I'm in the hospital, totally, completely paralyzed on my neck down.
And it was not from an automobile accident. It wasn't a spinal injury. It was a rare disease which I never heard of before. Took over my body and rendered me what's called quadriplegic. Nothing in my body moved. I could only communicate by blinking my eyes.
I was 144 days in the hospital.
I was in hospital bed.
[00:06:43] Speaker A: My own viewers. When was this? What? When did it happen?
[00:06:47] Speaker B: This was the year 2004 10. Okay, so September 17, 2004.
Again, we're in the year 2026. 2122 years ago.
Completely paralyzed in the morning. Healthy, paralyzed, anything. Could only communicate by blinking my eyes.
Wow. Now people look at me. Now you see I'm moving my arms. Yay. He's completely cured. Well, the reality is I can't get up from this chair by myself because I'm paralyzed still from the waist down.
But I will tell you a two quick story. This is one, so just finish the process. The journey. 144 days in the hospital.
I was in a hospital bed in my own home for two years. I couldn't move.
I was in a wheelchair for four years. Braces on both my legs, my hips, my ankles.
Thank God today I'm able to be vertical and ambulatory with the help of a seven foot walking one. So I'm a tripod, not a biped. I can't walk up a stair by myself. Can't walk myself. I have help 12 hours, seven days a week.
However, Rod hear my voice. Positive, powerful, pleasant.
All because of one word. One word.
Smiling.
See miracles in life every day.
Now, I gotta tell you, I do a lot of public speaking. Thank God we have millions of people listen to my podcast. I have three podcasts every month and I got millions of listeners around the world. So people know the story. And I don't travel much anymore. I live in Henderson, Nevada. So people hear, they say, wait a minute, that's near Las Vegas. Yeah. And they lean and open their eyes and tell me more. Tell me more. So I don't travel outside of the area because of my situation. However, recently I, I did give a webinar, I mean a seminar, seminar.
1107 people.
And I'm telling you the story about Barry Shaw. Well, standing up in the morning, paralyzed, seeing miracles in life every day. And got over a thousand people, people raising their hand say, hey, Barry, I've been up for hours, I haven't seen any miracles.
And I asked, are you here?
Can you hear? Can you stand still? I can't do that. Can you walk? I can daily do that. Do you have water to drink? Do you have food? You have place to sleep? Do you have family or friends? Every single one of those a miracle. What's the proof, Rob? The proof is the a million people didn't get out of bed this morning. You know why?
They died.
So by definition, if you're watching or you're listening, you didn't. We have an obligation to live life to the full. Am I correct? That's how you live your life. So you live life to every moment makes a difference. So the ability to see miracles in life every day transforms the being into what we call someone who is mad. Remember, mad stands for make a difference. And the best way for me to make a difference get some stuff that was very difficult. Paralyzed. Never know if I were going to move again is through this mechanism called
[00:10:08] Speaker A: and. Barry, you've gone through such an extraordinary, extreme, extreme traumatic experience. But you have this joy, this smile, and you're giving back through your storytelling. But there are days, I'm sure that you go back to some type of healing process for yourself, that internal healing process. Can you give us a little bit of insight to what that practice is that gives you and tells you to get out of bed? Just like how you're telling others to get out of bed when. What is it that that practice that helps you to get up?
[00:10:43] Speaker B: So first of all, thank you so much for enabling me and with you to touch so many wonderful lives.
Because let's be blunt.
I was paralyzed physically, right?
Not mentally, not spiritually.
And yet I meet people regularly who ask me questions. Because a lot of people are paralyzed in life, Ross. There's a of lot. It may not be physically unable to move, but they're paralyzed in their mind, in their spirit.
They can't seem to get out of that.
What I call sad. Sad stands for stress, anxiety and distraction.
That's a stress, anxiety, distraction that can really wreak havoc on somebody. How do you get out of that? Barry Shore, how do you break through?
Again, me personally, I have chosen joy. And I want to emphasize the chosen.
I am blessed that I had great parents, great teachers when I was growing up. And one of my teachers, my math teacher actually, when I was in the eighth grade, taught me this great phrase.
Now again, I was 13 years old. It took me a while to understand what he was talking about. However, over the years, it really helped, made a difference. And these six words will enable everybody to what I call shift your perspective.
Now, I gotta tell you something, Ross. I've been working with people in coaching for more than half a century.
And when people come to me on paper, they look great, wonderful lives. Then start telling me this stuff.
Really drop the square and shift.
You know, shift is S, H, I, F, D. You got to keep your F's in place. They drop the F and shift. And the other stuff was happening in their life. So here's a way to shift your perspective. Ready? Six words. Learn these six words. Internalize. You guys. Leverage.
Things will change.
Choice.
[00:12:50] Speaker A: And to that, to Barry. One second. To that, I am going to bring you back on in detail to discuss about the six areas where we can shift our perspective in a second. Thank you.
Next, I'm getting practical, not good vibes. Your joy system under real stress and how people can use it when life is shaking.
Thank you.
Welcome back to the Ras Patel Show. I'm here with Barry Shore, the ambassador of joy. And I want to make joy tangible because people don't need a quote, they need a reset. So, Barry, let's go back to where we ended.
Let's talk about the shift that you had mentioned and the six areas.
[00:13:48] Speaker B: Keep that F in place.
Perspective. The way to do it is with these six words. Six words that you can internalize. Utilize, leverage, and you'll have a shift in your world. Ready? These six words are choice, not chance determines your destiny.
How you choose to respond in any given situation will determine your path in life and your trajectory. So again, I was standing up in the morning, completely healthy and hearty in the evening, totally paralyzed. Now what do you do? What happens to your life now, Roz?
So I have been working on myself. I was 55 at the time. I've been working on myself for years. I was already allowing my being to choose my response. And I want to respond in a positive, purposeful, powerful, pleasant way. And I urge everybody. So we're going to give some practical tools that people can use right now that will help them shift their perspective and make a difference in their lives. Because that's really what it's about. It's not just, yay, battery. Yeah, you're cool. You can do this. You're rich and you're famous and you're handsome and you have 10 and all this great stuff. Hey, I'm. I'm just a regular guy also. Okay, great. I was rich. I was. I mean, mobile. So I'll give you background. Also, in the four years prior to becoming paralyzed, I had built two companies on the Internet, Roz. I had three issue patents. I sold both of those companies to public companies. I had made a lot of money. I was my little world. And now I'm laying in bed immobile. Never know I'm ever going to move again.
How about that for a shift in life?
A pile of shift, right?
These six words, how do you choose to respond in that situation?
I am choosing joy.
So let me tell you what JOY stands for. JOY is an acronym, three letters. Everybody knows Journey of you.
Everybody has a journey, everybody has stuff, Everybody has things that you go through. What do you do about it? What is your choice? Now for me, I've got to tell everybody I use a lot of four letter words. You're going to hear them throughout the show. I even use the letter F you word. I do it because of the chalk value.
Now of course, the four letter words that we use because we live in the world of the positive purpose, the powerful pleasant are Love, life, hope, play, free, give, swim and the four letter F. U word is fun.
That's right. U, capital N. Capital N. Now some people raising their hand say Barry Shore funds only spelled with three letters. Not in our world, Roz. In our world, the positive purpose of powerful pleasantness funds spelled F U capital N, capital N. So after this show, when you see your family and friends, you have a twinkle in your eye, a smile on your face, remember that stands for point your finger and say F you. Everybody remember to add all the way capital N. What are you talking about? Where'd you get that? Well, I was listening to Ron Patel show and she had this guy on and he's talking about, you know, joy and happiness, peace and love. And let me tell you about these six words. Choice not chance, terms with destiny. Let's do a couple of things here. There are three things that I like to share with people that are two tools that you can use right now at this moment and shift perspective. Make a difference in your life and you'd be happier, healthier and wealthier. Number one, we talked about it already.
Learn to smile regularly. Now I've been blessed.
Ms. Bio stands for seeing miracles in life every day. I gotta tell you a quick story, right?
A couple weeks ago My 8 year old niece comes over to me and she says, uncle Bill Perry, can we spell smile? S, M, I, E, L.
I'm the same. Why not after? How come? She says because then sm then it stands for seeing miracles in everyday life. Everyday life of an eight year old creating the type of world she wants to live in. Right.
So I'm going to tell story.
So I became paralyzed overnight 22 years, 25 years ago, three years before being paralyzed, I got a card in the mail. Actually, I'm going to hold it up. I don't know if people can see. If you're only listening, obviously you can't see it. And if you're watching, you see it, it reads, keep smiling, right?
So I got a card in the mail from the mine and it was really great. I love this card. Keep smiling. That's pretty cool. So I called over, I said, do you mind if I make some copies of that, give them out? And he laughed. He said, I knew you would do that. That's why I sent it to you. So I went to my friend the printer and I said, print me up 100, please. Okay. So we printed 100 cards. Keep smiling. Kept giving them out. Took me about what, two weeks, three weeks. I went back to my printer, I said, give me a thousand.
Wow. Thousand. Okay, so now to give them out. And after about 45 days, people are not just, hey, can I have three or four or five?
So took me about two months to give out a thousand cards.
So I went back to my friend, the prince. Danny. The Danny, please print 10,000 cards.
10,000.
[00:19:37] Speaker A: So.
So these tools that you're speaking of, Barry, which is powerful and quite important.
So when you're talking about these tools, and I'm sure you've seen people becoming stuck, you know, in their situation, in their journey. So how do you support folks when, through your coaching, through your talking experience, what are some of the, as you mentioned, the tools, what are the most common places you see people getting trapped on their journey and how do you help them?
[00:20:10] Speaker B: Thank you, Roz. You see why she's so wonderful and beautiful and why so popular? So here's the key. You're feeling stuck. First thing you do, remember, six words.
Choice, not chance, determines your destiny. Say, yeah, I'm feeling stuck. I am choosing at this moment, at this moment, and said, the rest of your life. Fine. You want to do it the rest of life? That's great. At this moment, I choose to smile, which stands for seeing miracles in life every day. I choose to look around and find a miracle.
Be as simple, as simple as, I have a wife or husband, I have children, I have a job, I have a home, I have food, I have water, drink.
See the miracle in life. That's tool number one. Use the six words and choose at that moment, at the moment. That's all. Just get unstuck.
The best way to get unstuck is to be of service to other people.
So here's a great word. Hope.
Everybody likes hope, right?
Hope stands for helping others progress every day.
When you have a smile on your face, Roz, you're walking down the street or sitting home, whatever. Look at her right now. She's smiling from ear to ear. When you have a smile on your face, guess what happens? It's very hard to be upset.
[00:21:41] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:21:42] Speaker B: Get unstuck, chew, smile. Physically. Physically, it makes a difference. And mentally and spiritually, look for a miracle. See it? That's number one.
Here's number two.
[00:21:57] Speaker A: Beautiful. Beautiful.
[00:21:58] Speaker B: This is a tool that everybody can use called learn how to blab.
[00:22:10] Speaker A: Just talk.
[00:22:11] Speaker B: What are you talking.
[00:22:12] Speaker A: Is that what it is? Just talk your heart out?
[00:22:14] Speaker B: Blab stands for read like a baby.
Now, as I said, I've been doing coaching and working with people for more than half a century, and I've done this with millions around the world.
Here's the situation.
Everybody watching or listening.
You're breathing right now, aren't you? Well, yes, Barry. Otherwise I wouldn't be alive.
Well, that's very shallow breathing, isn't it, Ross? That's functional. You know, breathing in three lungs and out, just to maintain.
However, once you learn to breathe like a baby, you're going to be able to shift your entire perspective of life. What does it mean? What does a baby. How does a baby breathe? They breathe deep into their tummy.
They breathe out. Now, we call it, in professional terms, diaphragmatic breathing.
Only one thing issue here. Ready?
99.2% of all human beings can't spell diaphragm.
They don't know where it is on the body.
You know, it's somewhere around. Yeah, right there. That's it. Beautiful. She's Rasp Patel. So we call it tummy breathing, the ability to breathe in. You know, again, choice, not chance with choosing. You're going to learn to sit.
You can even do the standing. I teach this takes 94 seconds. When I'm about to share with you 94 seconds that will shift your entire life. And you do this twice a day now, the rest of your life.
Because repetition creates transformation. Right, Roz?
[00:24:02] Speaker A: There you go.
[00:24:03] Speaker B: Increase.
So it's the ability, and it's on my website, by the way, if you go to barryshore.com and, and Ross is in the show notes and such like that, barry shore.com you can search on YouTube for the 94 seconds meditation by Barry Shore. 94 seconds. Everybody has that, right. When you're feeling stuck you're in a mood when you're distracted, you're anxious, you're stressed.
Then a br. Do this four breaths, conscious, loving breath. Breathe in through the nose, deep into your tummy.
Breathe out through your mouth slowly and repeat that four times.
Four conscious.
[00:24:52] Speaker A: With that and with that. Barry, I'm gonna blab and come right back to blab right with you in a second.
Stay tuned. Now next, I'm shifting into your mission that scales how you turn purpose into a giving model built for real world use.
We're back, Berry. This is where purpose becomes infrastructure.
I want to talk about the Everywhere card that you had mentioned few times earlier and the give at no cost model.
So let's break it down. Clearly you've given such tremendous amount of tools at the moment and the shift in your purpose, the smiles, the blabs. And now let's get real and talk about this everywhere card because I'm sure it's as powerful, powerful of a movement as so far, what we've been learning from you. So please let us know a little bit about that. What's the cause? And $3 while the supporters still gets the full hundred dollars. What is this all about?
[00:26:06] Speaker B: It's about giving the essence of life. So here's the situation, Roz. Let's go back and tell everybody again.
Harry Shore standing up in the morning, completely healthy and hearty in the evening, completely paralyzed. Change of life idea. If I'm going to move again.
And as I told people, as I mentioned before, in the four years previous to becoming paralyzed, I had built two companies, three issue patents, made a lot of money, had fame. What good is it if you can't move?
Well, I asked the good Lord, dear Lord, what am I supposed to do now?
I can't move. I don't know if I ever move again. Not ever w again. And I asked and I prayed.
[00:26:50] Speaker A: It's unknown feeling.
[00:26:52] Speaker B: Yes. And I, I, I meditate, I cry. What am I supposed to do?
And I got a mission.
My mission, wonderful, Ross, is to give $1 billion to charity without costing any giver a penny.
How do you do that? Barry Shore? I remember I was this man, I'm an entrepreneur. I kept looking for processes. What do you, how do you do it? And over the past 21 years, we've been through a number of iterations trying to make sure that this ability exists. And it does. So I'll make the story very short. About two years ago, a partner and I went to a company called Visa.
Yes, that Visa, Visa card. I told the story about Barry Shore and being paralyzed.
And I had, I said, here's the vision. Now, everybody knows that if you walk into a grocery store, places that they have these racks of gift cards, right? So if you pull off a gift card, let's say $100, Visa gift card, and you go to checkout, they're going to charge you $105, $100 for the card, $3 for the credit card, a dollar for the store, and a dollar for the distributor. Everybody wins. You got what you want, Fine. I said, Visa, this is the age of electronic delivery. We don't need physical cards. You want to do that? That's fine. Here's what I propose. Visa, I want to be able to deliver $100 prepaid Visa card to Roz for $100 to live it electronically. And Visa, I want you to chip in $3 when she does that to the charity of her choice.
You know what they said?
Get out of here, you.
That's a crazy idea.
Okay, it is.
Go. Watch this.
As an entrepreneur, we never give up. We don't just say, okay, bye. Thank you.
I went back 11 times, always going up higher and higher to the people who were supposedly making a decision and always saying, get out of here, get out. Until I came to a very senior person.
It was a woman.
And she said, let me hear that story again. So I told him about being paralyzed, told her what we want to do. You want to deliver a hundred dollar cards, prepaid Visa cards to people electronically so there's no cost of delivery.
And he's, I want you to chip in $3 at the same time.
And she thinks, well, you know, if you give a billion, that means we sold $35 billion of these cards.
And we're gonna. Every time Roz uses one of the cards, the merchant's gonna pay us, hey, we'll do that. Wow. Yay.
Just a couple of months ago, we got permission and the called the Everywhere card because you can use it everywhere. And this is my everywhere. And we're co branded on the Visa card that gets delivered electronically to your text or your email. And now you can use it anywhere for your groceries, your gas, you're going out shopping for clothes or for eating. It's a Visa prepaid card. And the genius is, the beauty is every time you buy one and everybody spends 6, $800, $1,000 a month or more on shopping, right? And stuff. So every imagine you just give, say, buy $1,000. Give me 10 of these $100 cards. You just gave $30 to your favorite charity or cause. And from the point of view of the charity, once they understand that they can aggregate their supporters and use this wonderful phrase. You ready Roz?
Would you be willing to help us if it doesn't cost you any money?
Well, hello wouldn't do that. I'm going anyway. I gotta buy this stuff. Why not use this? And I want to use the Everywhere card. So now charities and causes are coming to us saying let's do this. We want to sign up, we want to aggregate our supporters. 500, 1,000, 10,000, 20,000, 100,000. Big churches, small churches, schools, stations, softball team.
Everybody can use the Everywhere card because it won't cost you any money to give anything.
Isn't that wonderful?
[00:31:30] Speaker A: So how does one trust you though? How does one know that? Okay, because it sounds too good to be true.
[00:31:39] Speaker B: The reason that we said it's a Visa card is because, hello, this is Visa, is it not? Barry Shores Everywhere card, something. This is Visa.
So it's cool. Branded with them. They're the drivers and they are the ones who understand that by giving you gain a lot. They get the halo, they're going to get it back from the merchant.
But the beauty for the individual is I support my school, my church like organization, make a wish, Special Olympics, you name it, I can now help because I, I go shopping, shop with.
Isn't that wonderful Roz? How fabulous is this?
[00:32:25] Speaker A: That's impactful for sure. And I'm great to hear about your mission. So what's the hardest part about growing something mission driven and funding and distributing and partnership? What do you, how do you make sure that you are going full fledged in this and it's actually successful?
[00:32:43] Speaker B: Well we've tested, we're just about launch and we've tested every piece of this and it's beautiful because it's seamless and effortless to the user. That's the beauty. So let's be blunt. Almost everybody has a Google wallet or an Apple wallet or some sort of wallet on their phone, right? I mean that's just the nature of life.
So you again, you pay 100, you get a hundred. So you buy three, four, five, ten at a time. You get them in and it's coming directly from your bank account, much like PayPal. So when you sign up for PayPal or any of those organizations, you're putting in your banking information, it's drawing from your bank. So say give me pick up a number, five of these things it draws from your bank, goes to the organization, you send it to Visa, Visa sends out the cards, the individual user and you use them. And again, every time you bought, you buy five, you just gave $15, you bought 10, you gave 30. And it's, they do it every month. You just say, click, send me these every month. Because you have to buy groceries, you have to buy gasoline, you're going to go out to eat, you're going to buy clothes alone. Now you can do the most important thing in the world, Rob, which is a beautiful cause.
[00:34:00] Speaker A: Thank you. Thank you. And I definitely love your concept of everywhere card. It is an actually impactful journey. And you stated mission is 1 billion to charity. What's the growth flywheel? And that gets you there.
One billion to charity.
[00:34:21] Speaker B: This is beautiful.
It's the ability for millions of people to recognize that giving is an essential part of living as a human.
The most, what I call the 2G words, giving and gratitude.
There is nothing more important in my opinion than being a giver.
Gratitude. And when you do that, by the way, that's how you smile, you see mirror. How do you see miracles in life every day or how do you see miracles in everyday life? As my 8 year old me says, gratitude, being a giver, that's the genius.
[00:35:04] Speaker A: And when you're a giver and you have gratitude, it brings so much positivity and joy to your life and you become a joy.
[00:35:13] Speaker B: She's so beautiful. Not just physically, spiritually, mentally, because a channel of goodness, a child of God, there's nothing better on life. And again, if any organization can say to their supporters, would you be willing to help us? It doesn't cost you any money. Well, yes.
Okay. It's a different kind of ass than give me, give me, give me.
This is a shift in the perspective of philanthropy. The shift is what we call fundraising reimagined.
[00:35:53] Speaker A: Well said, Barry. And with that, I'm landing this in Legacy. What you want your life to mean beyond the mission and how you stay human while building big. Stay tuned for Barry More.
Thank you.
Welcome back to our final segment. Berri. I want to end with what my audience lives with every single day. Identity, fear, and the courage to become someone new.
[00:36:32] Speaker B: You.
[00:36:33] Speaker A: So what was the biggest internal shift from why is this happening that you haven't shared thus far, Barry?
[00:36:41] Speaker B: So again I want to say thank you, Ros Patel, for enabling me to be here today with you today. By the way, thank is, in my humble opinion, the two most powerful words in the English language. I urge people to use these words three times a day. From now on, the rest of your life, you'll Be happier, healthier and wealthier. Thank you. Thank you.
Say them three times a day, consciously and conscientiously. I'd like to share with people one other strategy tool that people can use immediately.
Talked about Slaya, seeing miracles in life every day using those six words. Choice, not chance determines your destiny. Talk to a blab. Breathing like a baby. Right? Right. Now choose to do this twice a day. That's it. 94 seconds. And it will. Repetition creates transformation. And this tool is going to make a difference for everybody listening. And you're going to share it with your friends and family. Ready?
Learn.
Love God too.
God too.
[00:37:55] Speaker A: Explain.
[00:37:56] Speaker B: Okay, I hope everybody has the same response. What?
What are you talking about? Learn?
Remember I mentioned we have the three fundamentals of life. Life has purpose. You need a purpose in life. You go mad. Mad stands. Difference number three is a power in the sequence of everyday worth.
Dog poop, which is ubiquitous, right?
Doing of good power of one person.
Everybody in the world has heard about Mother Teresa, Sandy Mandela, Elon Musk, Bezos.
List goes on those unique.
Wow. Yeah, okay, that's.
Well, yes, that is because the same creator that gave life to those beings gave life to you.
Imagine this. You're walking along with a friend and you see dog poop. It does happen. We see somebody picking up dog poop and you start laughing out loud. And your friend said, what's that all about? I said, well, I love dog poop. You say, what are you talking about?
Stands for doing of good power of one person.
You have the same power as Mother Teresa, as Gandhi. Give me an example of something.
Everybody knows you have a rip pond water and you throw a rock in there and it makes ripples, right? Going out, out, out, out, out.
So people who have limited vision say, okay, well as soon as it gets to the edge of the pond or the lake, those ripples stop.
Well, that's true according to physics.
Those ripples, that energy that went out from that stone, just ripples going out, you see, that energy continues forever to the whole Earth.
That's with a stone in a pond of water. You're a human being. There is nothing more powerful, positive, purposeful, present that is on this earth than you a human.
And when you can learn, learn to do good in your thoughts, your word and your deeds. And the power of one person, you reaches out to two people and one on either side of you. And those two reach out to 4, 8 to 16, 32, 64, 120. And it goes on and on. We can shift the energy of the planet Roz, all you have to do is learn to love dog poop.
[00:40:48] Speaker A: Absolutely. Dog poop is the way to go. Dog poop. So you speak about this ripple effect of this positivity and the dog poop and an impact from so many from one person. Was there a time when you went through this recovery phase that you noticed that there was a change in others when they were supporting you or helping you and that ripple effect was different and you had to shift your mindset to make sure that they saw or that you changed their mindset of the positivity.
So draw us into that life of yours because we. I want to get to know a little bit about you.
[00:41:28] Speaker B: This is so important.
Everything that is happening today and anybody who's listening and you're finding benefit from has very little to do with me and everything to do with my wife.
My wife, Naomi. If it wasn't for my wife, I would just be protoplasm and the extension from life.
Now, family and friends and people praying. I have three reasons why I am well today.
Prayer, therapy and love.
Love. Everybody loves love. Love stands for living on vibrant energy, living on the vibrational plane. Let me tell you about therapy. Remember, I can't move.
People come, and for years they're moving my arm, moving my legs and trying to do something with me, stimulate maybe some movement. And I had a dear friend who is the greatest aquatic therapist in America. His name is Vince. How do I know he is? Because he told me. And I love people who are positive.
Wheelchair in. In a year. Okay, it didn't happen. However. However, here's what happened. He took me to the pool. We went to a pool times a week. Again, I'm in a wheelchair. I have a helper. And by the way, not just a helper.
I have an amazing person. His name is Stephen.
Stephen has been with our family since the day I got out of the hospital, which was January 13, 2005.
So anybody's listening said, wait a minute, we're in the year 2026 now. Yes. Stephen's been with us for 21 years, Roz.
Well, Stephen, to calm the captain because he's driving the car, moving around. I'm not doing. We go to the pool three times a week. Again, wheelchair to a special hoyer lift at the pool. Make the story very short.
Over the course of a couple of years of having special devices on my arms and my tummy and my legs, moving me around, one day, one day I moved my arm over my shoulder. Now I haven't moved in years.
Years. Right My right arm on my shoulder.
I did it again.
I, I couldn't, wasn't moving my legs, move my. And had three strokes. I hit the edge of the pool and it hurt. And I said, yay.
I was, I actually swam a backstroke. I moved my, Move myself around.
I didn't stop for 92 minutes.
Two minutes.
[00:44:14] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:44:15] Speaker B: Incredible. That was the. Wow.
[00:44:17] Speaker A: 92 minutes. Let's think that 92 minutes.
[00:44:22] Speaker B: That was a mile essentially on my back with all these devices.
And when I got out, I'm crying tears of joys, everybody around the pool applauding and said, if I could do it once, I could do it again.
So I went, I did it next week and the week after. Twice a week, three times. I'm determined.
I made a decision. See, life is a three day adventure. Decision, discipline and determination.
That's how what I internalize, utilize and leverage. And now today, Roz, roz.
I swim two miles a day, six days a week.
[00:45:02] Speaker A: Beautiful.
[00:45:03] Speaker B: I've been doing that six days a week for more than 15 years now. I wear special devices on my hand and I wear stuffing on my legs. They don't sink and I use a snorkel. I move. I swim two miles a day, six days a week.
And I say this to everybody listening because I make at the pool. And when I get to certain milestones, like I made a big video that went viral to millions of people.
10,000 miles. Because I write down 10,000 now. I'm over 10,000 now. But the point of the video was I do it. Yes. It keeps me healthy. I was tan. I'm young, I'm handsome, I'm rich. Okay? All this stuff, right?
I do it.
I do it for every single person who says, I can't, I can't. Yes, you can. You can do something.
We call it motion is lotion.
Do something. Get unstuck. You. You stuck. Get unstuck. The way to do unstuck is consciously decide at this very moment, at the moment, choose to see miracle around you.
When you do that, you create a shift in your perspective.
And now you're living with positive purpose. Powerful because you learn to love dog poop.
[00:46:32] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, for sure. And when you consciously decide to shift your perspective, you're disrupting the old patterns.
So it's huge. From your understanding, from your concept of what you've done, and to swim six days a week, two miles, six days a week is huge considering where you were.
But people think, oh, my God, you know, when they think about your life story, they're like, huh? But that's him, that's Barry, not me. So when someone is facing these type of challenges, what do you have to say to them? Because it clearly wasn't an overnight change for you. Someone like you. Someone like me. So what do you say to those people?
[00:47:14] Speaker B: Oh, anybody who says, well, that's great for Barry. What about me again? I purge you, I plead with you, I beg of you. Use the six words, choice, chance, your path in life and your trajectory.
Use at any moment to say any moment, do this.
It doesn't. It's 94 seconds of breathing like a baby. You can do that.
You see miracles in your everyday life. Like my 8 year old niece says, when you learn to breathe like a baby and you see miracles in life and you laugh out loud because you even think about loving thought to you have already become the best you possible. And when you do that, you keep adding to it and you will experience. You hear this, Roz, you will experience in your life that others might say to you, hey, you look different, better, healthier, smarter, because now you're radiating when you radiate light.
By the way, some of the best ways to do this is to encourage everybody to do this.
I have four books we published just in the past years.
So it's in the show notes at my website, barryshore.com Roz is gonna promote it as such. Get yourself a book.
And not just get it. If you get it, you've already said I'm a winner.
Now when you get the book, I want you to read it and I want you to read it slowly. Read two minutes a day, three minutes a day. Don't just read it two or three minutes a day.
Oh, I take you a month to read it.
You do that. This show is all about the team.
It's not just for information.
Great, wonderful. Yeah. Okay.
Okay. It's not just about inspiration. Wow. Barry Shore inspiration. Yeah.
And then of course, five hours later, you need more about the T word transformation.
[00:49:31] Speaker A: And thank you for that, Barry. Thank you so much for that. So as most of you all heard and seen in the 31 million homes today, that Barry Shore, when you hear his name and 20 years from now, if you hear his name through his books, through theberryshore.com and anywhere you go, you'll remember one thing. He's the ambassador of joy.
He's the blab you want in your life.
You want the shift in his way.
So thank you for bringing the positivity through everywhere you go, Barry, we love you and we'll always remember that. And please Everyone join in. Make sure you grab his book. And stay tuned.
[00:50:17] Speaker B: Roz, let's do two things before we leave. Let's do a hug with all the thousands of people around the world, and we'll give a blessing. Right? Hug stands for heartfelt unlimited giving.
1, 2, 3.
Blessings and barriers. Go forth living zoom. Spread the seeds of joy, happiness, peace, and love.
Go mad. We'll make a difference.
[00:50:52] Speaker A: Thank you so much, Barry.
Thank you.
And stay tuned.
One second, one second. Barry, don't leave yet.
[00:51:00] Speaker B: Do I have to close the call to action? So him saying. I know he mentioned it, but yeah,
[00:51:06] Speaker A: I want to reiterate. Yeah.
[00:51:08] Speaker B: And then after that is his closing remarks.
[00:51:11] Speaker A: Okay. Can I do that for Barry?
[00:51:13] Speaker B: Yeah. Do you want to do the.
[00:51:15] Speaker A: The call or like, I. I'll do the call and then go straight in.
[00:51:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:19] Speaker A: Because it's easier. And then that way we can edit accordingly.
[00:51:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
